A

the yarn goes across the fabric using interlocking loops with the yarn beneath
these can stretch easily + lose shape + unravel if a yarn breaks
can be produced by hand or machine
in jumpers socks t-shirts

A

A

made by combining pressure, moisture and heat to interlock a mat of wool fibres
