The Water Cycle Flashcards

Q

Water Cycle

A

Water vapour is in the air, caused by waters evaporation and plants transpiration. Eventually the vapour cools and becomes a cloud.
When the vapour collects and gets too heavy, it comes back down as precipitation.
Some of the water infiltrates the ground. When the water moves deep underground, it’s called percolation.
As climate warms, water evaporates into the atmosphere through plants that water transpired into, and underground water.

Cycle repeats.
