A

A

Concentration of minerals is higher in the root hair cells than in the soil around them

What does active transport allow the plant to do?

A

active transport allows the plants to absorb minerals from a very dilute solution from the soil it moves the minerals against the concentration gradient

Why do we need active transport to stop us starving?

A

When there is higher concentration the gut they diffuse into the body, sometimes it is the other way round, they use active transport to get to a high concentration in the gut and lower in the blood
