Q

One bulb removed
Series vs parallel

A

Other goes out; 1 path for current to flow, opened circuit, no current flow, bulb doesnt light up

Other still lights; current still flow through other branch

Why are parallel circuits useful

A

Device in each branch operates independently

Q

Current in series, parallel circuit
Voltage in series, parallel circuit

A

Same at diff points; 1 path, same current flows through all points
Main loop current = branch 1 + branch 2 (lm=l1+l2)

Voltage across diff circuit components are diff (bulb ≠ cell)
Same across every branch (each branch=cells v) (v1=v2=vm)
