Topline: Level to the loins and the beginning of the croup.
Withers: Sufficiently mobile and hardly protruding, without being loaded.
Back: Straight, short and rigid, well coupled.
Loin: Short, broad and muscular.
Hips: Very slightly slanting, broad and muscular.
Chest: Let down to elbow level, broad with ribs well sprung but not barrel chested. Sternum wide and scarcely rising towards the rear. The rearmost ribs long and supple.
Abdomen: Slightly tucked up.
Flank: Slightly rising and short.

Body is of medium length, neither cobby nor roached, but rather approaching hollowness from underneath as the flanks should be well tucked up.
Topline should show the hindquarters to be as high as or a trifle higher than the shoulders.
Back should be short, well coupled and powerful.

Topline: Sloping slightly towards muscular quarters.

Body: The chest is deep, its lowest point no higher than the elbows, its front sufficiently wide for adequate heart and lung space, yet not so wide as to interfere with the straightforward movement of the forelegs. Ribs are deep and well sprung. Back is strong and sloping evenly and slightly downward from the shoulders to the set-on of the tail.

Chest deep with well-sprung ribs, oval in cross section with brisket reaching elbow. Forechest visible. Ribs extend well back into short, deep and powerful loin. Slight tuck-up to flank. Topline strong and level. The dog should be slightly longer in body measured from point of shoulder to point of buttock than in height from withers to ground.

Ribs well sprung, deep and reaching well up to the loins. Taut abdomen, slightly tusked up. Length of body, measured from point of shoulder to point of buttock should, ideally, be equal to height at withers, but may exceed height at withers by 2 cm.

The withers are pronounced and muscular. The back is solid, strong, well muscled, taut and straight. The muscles should hide the vertebral spines. The loin is short, broad, tight, muscular, straight or slightly arched. The portion from back to loin is well coupled. The croup is broad and of sufficient length, not to cut off short. It slopes slightly to the tail and is well muscled. The chest is deep and broad with a well developed, well muscled, moderately arched forechest. The sternum should extend as far back as possible. The sternum and the elbow should be at the same level. The ribs are moderately arched with the last ribs carried well back. The underline is elegant, tight, arching towards the rear and slightly tucked up.

Last ribs moderately arched. Ribs carried well back. Withers: Pronounced and muscular. Back: Solid, well muscled, taut and straight. The vertebral spines should be hidden by the muscles. Loin: Short, broad, tight, muscular, straight or slightly arched. The loin is well attached.

Underline: Elegant, tight, arching towards the rear, slightly tucked up. Croup: Broad and of sufficient length, not cut off short, sloping slightly to the tail. Well muscled.

Topline, which must not be exaggerated, slopes gently downwards from withers and then rises to a slightly arched, broad, strong and well muscled loin. Croup then slopes slightly to set on of tail. Chest broad and deep, reaching at least to the level of the elbows, with prominent breastbone. Ribs are open, well sprung and carried well back. Minimal tuck up.

General appearance, topline : The dog is well built, rather high in size, straight back, the neck attached high and the head carried high.
Wither : Is well pronounced and well linked with the line of the back.
Back : Is straight, well muscled, solid, very slightly sloping towards the rear. The croup is broad, sufficiently long, neither overbuilt nor drooping.
Chest : Sufficiently long and broad, oval, in proportion with the whole of the body, let down to the elbow. Ribs well sprung, breast well developed.
Underline and Belly : Moderately tucked in.
