16
Q

Right arm lead is placed where?

A

Just below right clavicle

17
Q

Left arm lead is placed where?

A

In-line with right arm lead just below left clavicle

18
Q

Right leg lead is placed where?

A

The right upper quadrant of the chest & right upper thigh

19
Q

Where is the left limb lead placed?

A

Vertically in line with the right leg lead on the left upper quadrant of the chest & left upper thigh

20
Q

Why do we place chest leads V1-V6?

A

• The define landmarks
• they determine intercostal space spaces eternal notch (between clavicle)

21
Q

What is the sternal angle located?

A

Below sternal notch A.K.A angle of Louis.

22
Q

What is the sternal angle?

A

The anterior formed by the the junction of the manubrium and body of sternum

23
Q

Where is V1 located?

A

Directly to the right of the sternal angle is the 2nd intercostal space. V1 is placed directly below that in the 4th intercostal space right side of sternum.

24
Q

Where is V2 located?

A

In-line with V1 to the left of the sternum in the 4th intercostal space.

25
Q

Where is V3 located?

A

Between V2 & V4

26
Q

Where is V4 located?

A

In the 5th intercostal space midline with the left clavicle (usually directly under the nipple).
Lead 4 is placed before lead 3 as guideline for leads 3 and 5

27
Q

Where is V5 located?

A

In the level of V4 left of the anterior mid axillary line (just below the armpit)

28
Q

Where is V6 located?

A

Level with lead 5 placed directly under the armpit at the mix axillary line.
