Q

if there’s daily bullish divergences

A

once 5 minute crosses above hourly, you can expect price to go back to daily trigger.

Q
A

Simple as that for every timeframe hourly, daily, weekly, monthly. Once there’s bullish
divergences and the lower timeframe trigger is crossed, even if it’s a 5,000% move to the
trigger, even if it’s a 1,000% move up to the trigger no matter what it is. Once the two lower
timeframe trigger is cross. The divergence is telling you that price is going back to that trigger
whether you like it or not.

Q

Once the two lower
timeframe trigger is crossed, what happens?

A

lower timeframe trigger is crossed, even if it’s a 5,000% move to the
trigger, even if it’s a 1,000% move up to the trigger no matter what it is, the timeframe is going back to it’s trigger.

Q

all divergence work the same for every time frame

A

they all go back to the higher timeframe once two lowers pass the higher timeframe

Q

if monthly velocity is going down, stronger each and every single month, and the daily crosses the weekly trigger we would _____ expect to move price to to do what?

A

not, move back to the monthly trigger

9
Q

hourly velocity is stepping down, 1 minute crosses above the five would we expect to reach the 1 hour trigger?

no

10
Q

weekly velocity reduction is happening

11
Q

for the next cross in triggers check velocity first or last?

A

first, velocity from a timeframe above will dictate whether or not a trigger can go up to its higher timeframe trigger.

16
Q

what can you tell about divergence reset on this picture?

A

it caused the weekly velocity to repair and lose steam.

17
Q

how can the weekly velocity get this way?

A

MASSIVE BUYING

18
Q

could you begin to go long here?

A

yes, massive amount of buying is happening.

19
Q

why is buying right here bad?

A

weekly velocity is still bad

20
Q

when do you expect a trigger to cross based on velocity alone

A

when there’s barely any velocity left

21
Q

velocity tells us what?

A

how much resistance or support is gonna be at the trigger

22
Q

negative velocity in context of a trigger crossing indicates that there could be what?

A

sellers waiting to meet us.

23
Q

negative low velocity =

A

not a lot of sellers waiting for us

24
Q

Should you prioritize divergences above all else?

A

yes

25
Q

3 bullish divergences were made, what would happen after especially with a trigger crossing potentially happening?

A

price would break past the trigger with the divergence information.

26
Q

you can do a few things after 3 divergences show

A
  1. you can wait till price breaks above hourly
  2. What James like to is wait till price breaks above Daily trigger
27
Q

why does James like to is wait till price breaks above Daily trigger?

A

because he knows price wants to get to the weekly trigger anyway.

28
Q

When would you enter with 3 bullish divergences

A

With 3 - you can always enter when price moves above the daily trigger

with 3 monthly divergences - you can always enter when price moves above the weekly trigger

29
Q

What about entering with 1-2 divergences?

A

1 - in these scenarios, you use stop losses under the hourly trigger, invalidations under the daily trigger, go long when price is above, but flat below

30
Q

when there’s 3 bullish divergences what do you do?

A

You take a long dated position, and you sit on it.

31
Q

What’s the only way you would sell a long dated contract from a 3 bullish divergence inspiration trade?

A

It’s if price hits the target, or if we’re talking about weekly trigger airpocket fills or if the hourly trigger crosses down below the daily trigger.

Monthly airpocket fills, you’d do it when the hourly crosses the weekly trigger.

32
Q

only call it an airpocket setup if

A

if there’s 3 bullish divergences

33
Q

how far would you take the OTM calls for airpocket setups and where would the price be?

A

half the distance from price and target.

34
Q

if price is above the hourly trigger it can accelerate way harder than when

A

a stock breaks above the hourly trigger.

35
Q

3 trigger clusters is when and when is it not?

A

all 3 triggers are clustered together for a little bit of time, not 10 minutes

36
Q

3 trigger cluster is followed by an eventual

A

liftoff

37
Q

3 trigger cluster cause a stronger ______ than usual

A

acceleration

38
Q

when would be the only stop loss?

A

when 5 minute trigger moves back below the hourly trigger

39
Q

algo is waiting in a cluster

A

they wait for triggers to cross at times

40
Q

Airplane must

A

I’ll do my best lol. It’s for airplane set ups. So when you have a trigger come down to the trigger 1 time frame above (ex. 1mt to 5mt, 5mt to hourly) you check hourly velocity on the current hour and you see if it is higher then it was 3 hours ago. If it is, you have confirmation the plane is set for lift off and won’t cross under. It doesn’t matter if the hourly velocity is lower in hour 2 compared to 1 as long as the current hour is higher then 3 hours ago.
