What is full cab unattended procedure?
PA if necessary
MCH to B6
Marker Lights to ON (White)
Selector Switch to NEUTRAL
Master Key or OFF and OUT
Observe emergency pressure and SPBs illuminate
Take keys and radio
Lock doors and windows
What is modified cab unattended procedure?
MCH to B6
Marker Lights or ON (White)
Selector Switch to NEUTRAL
Master Key or OFF and OUT
Observe emergency pressure and SPBs illuminate
Take keys
Acknowledge DTRS radio prompt to retain TDN
What is Changing Ends Procedure?
MCH to B6
Selector Switch to NEUTRAL
Ensure saloon lights ON - headlights OFF
Switch off unecessary cab equipment
Master Key or OFF and OUT
Ensure Trip lowered light has extinguished and park brake has applied
Take keys and radio
Windows, doors, blinds
Inspect rear of train - markers RED, headlights extinguished
Close and lock cab door
What do you check for when walking to other end of train?
Obvious defects
Centre motors secure
Saloon lights on
Pantographs in good order
What is the procedure for assisting special needs passenger?
Release doors
Push Auto Door Inhibit button
Marker lights to WHITE
Cab Unattended procedure
Ramp down then put away
Return to cab - insert key
Accept TDN in DTRS
Close saloon doors
Where are the secondary doors on a Siemens?
Doors 1 and 4 on Leading Centre Motor
What do you do if you have to detrain special needs passenger while being ROE?
Press ESB to indicate to other driver you are assisting a passenger
When will a PEI call time out?
150 Seconds
What happens when the DDA Button is pressed?
the DDA Request Button on Audio Panel will FLASH 5 TIMES
Stays illuminated until cancelled
What happens when driver acknowledges DDA button?
No. 1 End camera will be displayed for 10 seconds
