Function of the Avionics Cooling Switch (FAN, OVRD)

FAN: Primary fan cools radios. If fails, backup fan comes on automatically
OVRD: Radio rack fans are off, the venturi valve is commanded open and airflow cools radio

On the ground, both fans stay on and venturi valve is closed

OVRD: Overrides auto pack shutdown for an engine failure

Both packs automatically shut down if either engine fails during takeoff or selected off. Auto pack shutdown feature is disarmed above 3000 feet. Pack will also auto shutdown if a high supply duct temperature is sensed
