Alt Intervention in VNAV Cruise

A

If higher altitude in MCP than FMC then FMC cruise alt will be reset to MCP alt.

If lower alt in MCP but at or above any descent constraint it will initiate CRZ DES at 1000fpm to new CRZ alt and will recruise the vnav page if aircraft is more that 50nm from TD. — IF less than 50nm from TD, early descent mode is engaged.

If more than 50nm to TD with MCP alt set below descent constraint, descent at 1000fpm will engage till capturing descent path or MCP alt is captured
