tried to attack Massagetae, Croesus didn’t want him to fight, send his son Cambyses to Perisa,
In the first fight with Tomyris and Massagetae, brother is taken, (Spargapises) and he kills himself,
Tomyris kills Cyrus and puts his head in a bucket of blood to quench his thirst for blood

How did cyrus become king
Astyages wasn’t pleased that Harpagus didn’t kill Cyrus, so killed his son and baked him in a pie and made Harpagus eat him
Harpagus stayed in contact with Cyrus, and they secretly campaigned for noble Medians to side with Cyrus in a rebellion.
Astyages senses war is coming, and appoints Harpagus as the general for his armies. Before
the battle, most of the Medians switch sides or run away. Cyrus then becomes king of the
Medes, but allows Astyages to live on in retirement.
