Note: the above construction can also be expressed by: обя́зан/обя́зана/обя́зано/обя́заны (also with nominative). They are interchangeable, but this last construction renders more the idea of a stronger obligation (‘obbligato’, si potrebbe dire)

Another verb to express to must or to have to in the meaning of obligation is приходи́ться / прийти́сь, wit sbj in dative and verb according to the object.

But when we want to stress the fact that we really and strongly want sth, then the following construction can be used:
dat + хоте́ться / захоте́ться (coniugated with following nom) + nom
