Q

discriminant

A

b2- 4ac
if >0 - 2 solutions

Q

disguised quadratics

A

eg x^2/3 +2x^1/3 +2 = 0
just make y + x^1/2
and it becomes y^2 +2y +2 = 0
which you can solve
