What is PTFE tape?
A
Used as separating medium to prevent teeth from sticking together

How do you use a vacuum formed stent?
A
- isolate other teeth with PTFE tape
- cut hole in incisal edge to allow excess composite to escape (cut from inside out)
- etch and bond
- load matrix with composite and seat matrix
- cure palatally and labially
- remove excess flash from incisal edge and adjacent teeth
- move to next tooth
- finish all incisal edges together once occlusion assessed
