Q

How do we operationalise the DV

A

3 ways
- observation: watch behaviour (e.g. count how many times someone plays with hair in 1 min)
- self-report: ask them, verbally or written. (E.g. scale from 1-10 whether they like sport)
- Unit: can be scientific (e.g. memory score out of 20, or time in seconds, or distance in cm)
