What is one way you can differentiate Clostridium difficile, Clostridium tetani and Clostridium botulinum?

A

Clostridium botulinum has subterminal or terminal spores, whereas tetanus and difficile have terminal spores.

C. botulinum can however display terminal spores, despite subterminal spores being more common.
