What may members inform the public of?
Services they are capable of providing by means of advertising or other forms of promotion, subject to general requirement that medium should not reflect adversely on the member
Promotional material prepared/produced by members or firm should not (ACCA)
Bring ACCA into disrepute or being discredit to the member
Promotional material prepared/produced by members or firm should not (Services)
Discredit the services offered by others, whether by claiming superiority for member’s or firm’s own services

What should an advertisement be?
An advertisement should be clearly distinguishable as such
Where should care be taken?
To ensure that any reference to fees does not mislead the reader as to precise range of services and time committment thatt reference is intended to cover
What should promotional activities not do?
Any promotional activities should not amount to harassment of prospective clients
What is permitted?
Commissions, fees or rewards in return for the introduction of a client
