Talk me through how you measured this retail unit?

I measured the office space in dover on an NIA and IMP3 basis

Prior to measuring the property I obtained floor plans from the client and ensured I had the relative equipment with me.

I measured the unit firstly on an NIA basis, excluding WCs, and noting the measurements of internal columns to be excluded.

I measured the unit on an IPMS3 basis, I measured to the internal dominate face and included the internal columns but stated separately.

I acted in line with the RICS property measurement 2nd edition when reporting my measurements.

IMPS All Buildings 2023 which aims to establish a global way of measuring buildings to give an international approach. The RICS have not yet adopted this.
