A

Wade - Walking, (eg: trying to walk into deep water), this blood so deep and thick he can no longer move forward, it is possible that he can may neither move on or forward from all the wrongs he has committed as well.
“Stepped in so far” could be a way to express how Macbeth has gone over the edge and feels like he can no longer turn back. (Hamartia)
