A

To be able to pick out specific stimuli amongst other stimuli to determine which one is useful and which is not

A

Females need blood protein for egg development and males feed on nectar
Females find hosts using chemicals (long distance and physical (short distance) cues
Some species seek out carbon dioxide as it will eventually lead them to vertebrae
