Procurement and Tendering Flashcards

1
Q

When have I developed tender documentation

A

Employers Requirements and ITT. I pulled together a set of employers requirements that was sent out to a contractor for them to tender on. This was part of a framework.

I did this on my Level 38 Meeting Point project. I worked with the architect to compile their information and include project information. No MEP requirements.

Q

When have I evaluated a tender

A

I have never evaluated a competitive tender with multiple parties, but what I would do is compare against the identified scoring criteria.

I have reviewed tender returns as part of a framework where only one Contractor submitted a tender. I analysed this to determine if it fit in with the clients cost and programme requirements, and worked with the team to ensure it covered all bases from a scope perspective.

I have not, but I am aware of what is typically included. Information asked for is financial checks, experience of the work, the team delivering, share the contract particulars, key information (start date, scope etc) and other qualifying information such as modern slavery declarations
