  • more focused environment with less distractions
  • more chance to learn specialist skills
  • increases new workers motivation as they feel more valued as the company as spent money on their development

Dis:

  • more expensive
  • may fail to see the link between training and workplace
  • employee taken away from production so the company are losing money
