A

-Muscle contracts but little to no movement
-Length doesn’t change
-Angle at joint stays the same

Examples: Plank, wall sit, press up hold

-Muscle will get shorter/fatter during contraction

-Downward phase
-Negative phase
-Muscle will get longer/thinner during contraction
-Tear more fibres (gain muscle)
