why can an increase in temp cause an increase in NPP

the rate of chemical reactions increases with temp due to an increase in kinetic energy of enzyme and substrate molecules, this leads to an increase in reaction rate because of more enzyme - substrate collisions therefore a faster rate of photosynthesis
