Conceptualizations of Stress
(Physiological)
- Fight or flight response

Psychological Conceptualizations to Stress
Lazarus Theory:
- Person is only stressed when they evaluate an event as being personally significant

Acute Stress disorder
- Exposure to one or more traumatic events that last 3 days to a month
- Reaction of fear, hopelessness, or horror
