Q

How does water move through plants?

A
  • Water is taken up from soil and only moves in one direction - roots to leaves via xylem

Q

How does water move through the xylem?

A

Q

How is sugar created and moved through plants?

A
  • Glucose is made through photosynthesis and stored as starch
  • Then transported via translocation in the sieve tubes with energy from a companion cell
