•Existing tenements have been renovated instead of demolished. They are modernised with new windows, central heating, bathrooms etc
•High rise flats have been demolished and redevelopment has taken place on land e.g student accommodation
•Areas have been redeveloped (e.g sighthill) with new flats houses restaurants,offices and open green space

Whats YUPPIFICATION

A

Yuppi-young and up coming professional. This is when higher income people move into new nice flats or modernised tenement flats in in a city areas because of ease of access to CBD and access to transport. This increases property prices out pricing many residents.
