A

HAS-BLED SCORE
Risk of major bleeding for bleeding for patient on anticoagulation to asses risk in af care.

  1. Hypertension – uncontrolled >160
  2. Renal disease – dialysis, creatinine >2.26 or >200 umol/L
  3. Liver disease – cirrhosis? - bilirubin over 2* normal – ast/alt/ap >3* normal
  4. Stroke history
  5. Prior major bleeding or predisposition to bleeding
  6. Labile inr – unstable/high inr - <60%
  7. Age >65
  8. Medication predisposing to bleeding – aspirin, clopidogrel, nsaids
  9. Alcohol - >8 drinks/week
