Q

Is it authorized to arm approach mode and couple the AFCS to GP on an approach with LNAV or LP minimums with advisory vertical guidance? (LNAV+V, LP+V)

A

It is allowed! However, exercise caution not to descend below MDA until visual references are established. Altitude capture is inhibited with GP as the vertical mode. For this reason, it is recommended to increase the BARO MIN by 50 feet when using advisory vertical guidance.
