s = average velocity × time
s = (v + u / 2) × (t)
[v = u + at]
(2u + at / 2) × (t)
-> u + ½at × t
-> ut +½at²
∴ s = ut + ½at²

v² = (u + at)²
v² = u² + 2uat + a²t²
= u² + 2a(ut + ½at²)
[ut + ½at²]
-> u² + 2as
∴ v² = u² + 2as
