Where the back meets the base of the chair
What’s the drill for pilot incap?
-Pull seat aft
-Put shoulder harness on by pulling two shoulder straps forward and securing into central buckle
-Put arms in a figure of 8
-Pull down harness lock lever
What call will be made when there’s a pilot or crew member incap?
An ODE call
What’s the process to gain access into the FD (non-emergency)?
-Red light will show
-Enter code
-Light will go green
-You will have 5 seconds to enter the flight deck or it will re lock
How long do you have to enter the flight deck before it re-locks?
5 seconds
What way does the flight deck door open?
It opens into the cabin
Whats the process to enter the Flight Deck (emergency)?
-Red light will show
-Enter the 8 digit code
-Light will go to Amber
-Wait 30 seconds
-Light will go green
-5 seconds to enter before it re-locks
