leaders tend to show directions, inspire and set standards by example- build relationships
Managers tend to control people and use their authority

A style characterised by high levels of control
- decision making power is held by the leader

-Clarity and structure as there’s clear expectations and guidelines

Low employee morale as they have a lack of input leading to dissatisfaction

A combination of high levels of authority and focus being on the wellbeing and development of the employees
