Q

How are we lead to believe Stella enjoys Stanleys aggressive nature?

A

Williams causes us to believe that Stella enjoys Stanleys brutish behaviour as at the beginning of the scene she has woken up after having sex with Stanley the night before and she doesn’t seem to be bothered about Stanley abusing her the day before evidenced in the beginning Stage Directions “her eyes…of Eastern Idols.”
