1. Vts Provides Tidal information With tides greater than 11 feet to mitigate wake damage from excessive speeds. These higher tides bring more logs in dead heads out of the sound.
2. Ten foot channel and gig harbor experiences considerable current
3. Currents exceed five knots in the narrows
4. East passage sets north on the ebb and south on the flood currents weak and variable.
5. Calvos passage sets to the North both Eb and flood with max Eb of 1.1 knots heavy riptides at the North. Entrance on the flood with southwinds
6. Commencement bay and quarter master harbor currents are weak in variable
7. Dolco passage currents run center channel and along Southwest shore of commencement Bay. Almost continually set west northwest

1. Washington State fairy cross’s traffic lanes between Fauntleroy point vashon and point. South worth Washington State ferry’s also runs service between point defiance and tahlequah. These runs are scheduled and published but not always on time.
2. Commercial vessels of all types can be found in east passage including naval vessels.
3. Tugs tows and log toes can be found anywhere in the Chart, sometimes outside of the TSS lanes especially log tows tugs and tows take advantage of constant northbound current in culvo’s passage.
4. Passenger only fairy service runs from point Southworth. Point vash on and bremerton to pier fifty two in seattle.
