Q

Why is God’s voice within us is a misconception?

A

our conscience is not God’s own voice like a radio that transmits a DJ’s voice through the air waves. We know that sometimes our conscience can be in serious error. It can mistakenly judge something if its good or evil.

Q

Why is our feeling of guilt a misconception?

A

Guilt is a sign that our conscience is at work but we should not equate conscience with guilt because conscience is the operation of the intellect.

If we no longer feel guilty, that doesn’t mean our conscience is automatically correct.
