Q
A

Alpha keto is an interval component of histone demethylase the methylate removes the methylgroup which are used for granitic modicfication on the histones in the DNA

mutation on the alpha keto- NADPH = 2 hydroxy glutate which inhibit the a keto from binding to the histone methylase which can lead to tumours

Q

What happens in the Complex enzyme 1 and 2

A
  1. 6NADH from TCA cycle goes through complex enzyme 1 and it removes the electron and hydrogen resulting in 6NAD+
  2. The electron from the CE1 goes to the Co-enzyme q, 2FADH goes through the complex enzyme 2 removes the hydrogen and electron the is moved to the co-enzyme q
  3. Then the hydrogen from CE1 is transported out by its channel and the electrons are transferred to the CE3 and the + goes out the CE3 channel

Q

What happens in the second part of ETC?

A

1.CE2 doesn’t have channel so the H+ stay inside

  1. e- are transferred to the cytochrome C trans-are transported to the complex 4
  2. Electron binds with oxygen and that two hydrogen atoms, which will make a H2O.

Q
A
  1. There are a lot of hydrogen atoms outside the intermembrane, so the hydrogen atoms go through ATP synthase, allowing the hydrogen to enter into the cell
  2. When does hydrogen enters the rotor and the rod spin making
  3. ADP and phosphate bind to the beta subunits to make ATP by the ADP+ Pi binding together

Q

How many NADH, FADH are made in glycolysis, TCA cycle and ETC cycle?

A
  1. KREBS- 6NADH (18ATP)
    2.KREBS- 2FADH(4ATP)
    3.KREBS- 2ATP(2ATP)
  2. TRANSITION- 2NADH(6ATP)
    5.GLYCOLYSIS-2NADH(6ATP)
36 ATP IN AEROBIC CONDITION OXYGEN HAS TO BE PRESENT
IN GLYCOCLSIS THE ATP IS IN ANEROBIC 2+ 36= 38 ATP
