A relationship in nature that is supported by many experiments with no exceptions found.
Pure research
Research to gain knowledge for the sake of knowledge itself.
Applied research
Research is undertaken in order to solve a problem.
Mass
A measurement that reflects the amount of matter present.
Weight
The measurement of the earth’s gravitational pull on matter.
Base unit
A defined unit in a system of measurements.
