They were a group of jewish people who hated the romans and believed there was no master exept god

The Sadducees were a small but powerful group who normally came from wealthy families and got Jobs in the Sanhedrin (Jewish council)

They called them ‘the dagger men’ as they carried daggers in their pockets and stabbed romans from begind
