A
  • watch and wait if mild
  • high dose oral steroids if severe.

investigation findings

A

Bloods:
- High WCC and CRP

Imaging:
- bilateral patchy or diffuse consolidative or ground glass opacities

Lung function tests:
- Usually restrictive pattern BUT can be obstructive or normal.
- transfer factor is reduced.
