1. The Fury never wavers in the face of resistance from Tantalus.
- Even when he tries to run away she stops him
- When he tries to warn his family the Fury forces him to do her bidding
2. The ghost of Tantalus only wants to go back to Hades and not face his descendants but still gives the Fury what she wants.
- The Fury ordered him to urge his family to violence
3. The language of the second scene and elsewhere hints that Atreus is not all that steadfast
