Explain the structure of the motivation section.

A

Part 1:

Introduce the topic of research and provide a brief definition of the most important concepts/constructs

Part 2:

Provide an overview of the Theoretical Foundations and explain where there is a gap in the literature and why there is a need for research

Part 3:

Based on the need for research, present the the research question, the main goal of the the research and a summary of the method used.

Part 4:

Explain how the findings will add knowledge to the current literature and can help managers and/or policymakers to make decisions.

A
  1. Assert if you have answered your research questions.
  2. Explain to the reader how many findings emerged and describe each of them
  3. Draft a paragraph of discussion for each finding, by explaining why the findings are important or relevant according to your research goals.
