How do sensory stimuli influence consumer behaviour?
A
People associates certain characteristics with certain stimuli
Examples:
- Ugly shapes = bad quality
- Red = arousing, blue = relaxing
- Citrous = freshness/cleaner
- Second hand = dirty (others have touched it)
- Elongation biais: longer = more volume even if not true
