Q

What is the philosophy of “Avionics World” and “Open World”?

A

The “avionics world” links aircraft systems together in a secured environment. e.g. ACDN

The “open world” is like an extension of the aircraft systems to the outside for airline operations and users e.g. NSS

They are separated by a firewall
