What do this grammar mean?
フリーの仕事は自由な時間が多いかわりに、お金のことがいつも心配だ。

A

but at the same time, on the other hand / in return for…
can imply that by doing one action, “in return/as a result” you can do another action.

“instead” –> also means to refrain from an action that usually you would or should undertake, but do something different but equivalent instead.
