-can therefore spot the symptoms of dementia and give early treatment

A

-conducted a brain scan looking for evidence of the CE but did not find any areas of activity when doing CE activity.
-no empirical evidence of CE, if CE does not exist neither can any of the slave systems so reduces credibility of model.

A

-was in a motorcycle accident and damaged his STM but had vision impairments but the phonological loop was fine.
-shows different stores within the STM.
-As vision is controlled by VSSP and phonological loop controls acoustics and sound.

A

-individuals with WS have normal language ability but difficulties with spatial and vision.
-shows different stores in the STM.
-as vision is controlled by VSSP which is damaged but PL is down which controls their language ability.

What is a problem of using the KF case study to support WMM?

A

Case studies only test one person behaviour so it is a very unrepresentative sample and therefore the results will be ungeneralisable.
