Q

What are the three factors that affect the rate of diffusion ?

A

Concentration: the lager the concentration gradient the higher the rate of diffusion
Temperature: higher temp means particles have more energy so diffuse quicker
Surface area: larger the surface area the higher the rate of diffusion
