a,-Here Mormon gives us his intent for writing the plates-He is witnessing the complete destrucion of his people he is writing to us what is his purpose what is seeking to teach us. What must we do so not reeive the same fate?

He is the editor has so many records what is the point he wants us to get. “Thus we see” then is gold here.

Helaman 3 and heleman 12

27 Thus we may see that the Lord is merciful unto all who will, in the sincerity of their hearts, call upon his holy name.

Nephi -I will show you the tender mercies…

28 Yea, thus we see that the gate of heaven is open unto all, even to those who will believe on the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God. (everlasting covenant)

29 Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked—

30 And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers, to go no more out.

This was Nephi’s point. (also saw the destruction of his people) — feast upon the Words of Christ– tell you all things ye should do.

Book of revelation ends with us seeing our return home. We are triumphant as we enter the gate, and as we see the symbol, the tree of life - the everlasting covenant. This end of the book reflects the tree of god’s love - promises of the beginning of the book it, so we see the blessings, and the promises of the covenant made at the beginning , and at the end it is the temple covenants by which we become triumphant we come to the temple and purchase gold receive gold from the savior. Seeking the blessings, gifts of the atonement is the heroes journey. It is it is the everlasting covenant is to enjoy the love of God throughout the eternities.

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel/covenant to preach (teach) unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

We are to follow the example of the angel and proclaim the everlasting covenent.

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

19 I give unto you these sayings that you may understand and know how to worship, and know what you worship, that you may come unto the Father in my name, and in due time receive of his fulness.

20 For if you keep my commandments you shall receive of his fulness, and be glorified in me as I am in the Father; therefore, I say unto you, you shall receive grace for grace.

12 And I, John, saw that he received not of the fulness at the first, but received grace for grace;

13 And he received not of the fulness at first, but continued from grace to grace, until he received a fulness;

14 And thus he was called the Son of God, because he received not of the fulness at the first.

30 For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough, from them shall be taken away even that which they have.

1828 websters dictionary fot Precepts In a general sense, any commandment or order intended as an authoritative rule of action; but applied particularly to commands respecting moral conduct. The ten commandments are so many precepts for the regulation of our moral conduct.

As we enter the everlasting covenat a new relationship is formed we become the sons and daughters of Christ.Christ become the father of this new creation - The process of becoming men and women of Christ (see 3 Nephi 27:27)
And the Lord said unto me: Marvel not that all mankind, yea, men and women, all nations, kindreds, tongues and people, must be born again; yea, born of God,changed from their carnal and fallen state, to a state of righteousness, being redeemed of God, becoming his sons and daughters;
And thus they become new creatures;…
Mosiah 27:25-26

We can become sealed to him

As we mature and grow physically, we need to ensure that the divine within us is being nurtured. Our actions should invite the Spirit to be the predominant force in our lives.

President Howard W. Hunter taught the following: “The doctrine of the Resurrection is the single most fundamental and crucial doctrine in the Christian religion. It cannot be overemphasized, nor can it be disregarded. Without the Resurrection, the gospel of Jesus Christ becomes a litany of wise sayings and seemingly unexplainable miracles.”[1]
