A

Introduced Britain to bagpipes,
Celtic priests (druids) were in charge of religious rituals, some of which are around today like Halloween and May Day.

A

Many of our roads our based on old Roman roads,
Many Roman towns, like Chester, York Bath, Gloucester, Lincoln, Colchester and S. Albans are still around.
Lots of our language and our laws can be traced back to the Romans.
They were the first to use calendars, coins, glass and bricks in Britain.
They introduced cabbages, peas, wine, apples, grapes, turnips, carrots and cats.

They built many fine castles, Churches and Cathedrals that are still standing today,
Over 10,000 words in our dictionaries came from them.
They invented surnames.
They introduced conkers adpnd chess.
They introduced deer, rabbits and pheasants.
They planted the New Forest.
Changed how the country was ruled and hiw people were taxed.
They came up with names like William, Stephen, Emma, Alice and Robert.
