  3. Current driver’s license.
  4. Proof of automotive insurance.
  5. Receipt of emissions inspection, if applicable. It mainly pertains to older vehicles.

If involved in a car crash, what should you do? Give some suggestions.

A
  • Move your vehicle to the shoulder of the road or parking lot if it’s a minor accident.
  • Help if anyone is hurt. Check the scene first to avoid putting yourself in danger.
  • Call 911 in request for a police officer, fire truck, and/or ambulance.
  • Set up flares or reflectors under poor weather conditions.
  • Exchange personal information with the other driver(s) such as name, address, phone number, license plate, and auto insurance.
  • Inform insurance agent of the accident.
