● Aerodrome And Facility Directory
○ This section gives an alphabetical listing with comprehensive facility information of all registered land aerodromes in Canada

● Planning Section

Answer 2

○ This is a how to guide for flight plans/itineraries, position reports, PIREP, etc.; also gives an equipment code list; transponder operation information; airspace summary; cruising altitude order; weather minima; Koch Chart and VFR chart updates; etc.
● Radio Navigation and Communications section
○ Gives information on various navigation and communication aids

● Military Flight Data and Procedures
○ Gives information for the military.
● Emergency Section
○ Information on transponder codes; light signals; ELT use; Com. Failure; Intercept procedures, etc.

● Operator
○ The Aerodrome status:
■ Certified (Cert) – With airport certificate, meets TC standards and is inspected regularly.
■ Registered (Reg) – Not subject to TC inspection, contact operator for current information.
■ Military (Mil) – Require prior permission for civilian aircrafts

Question 8

● Obstacle Clearance Circle

Answer 8

○ Lists the highest obstacle altitude above sea level + 1000 ft rounded up to the next highest 100 ft increment.
○ It is a guide for VFR pilots in order to highlight the direction and height of nearby obstacles.
○ The radius of the area or control zone is specified on the outer ring of the OCC.
○ If not specified, standard circuit altitude is 1000 ft above the elevation of the aerodrome and left hand.
